Which potting soil should I use for hydrangeas?

Look for well-drained, moist potting soil containing micronutrients and a slow-release fertilizer. The best potting soil is labeled "Container" or says made for potted plants. Also look for potting soil that says it contains fertilizer to produce a lot of flowers. Avoid mixes made from mostly peat moss because they can dry out too quickly.
